Rules and Conditions

In order to provide better service for tourists, we have established a few rules. Please read them before making a decision about booking a hotel, renting a car, renting a boat, hiring a guide and photographer from Sylhet Tourist Guide, Sylhet, Bangladesh. By reading the Terms and Conditions, you will be able to understand the rules and regulations of the contest. If you are a tourist and you want to make the booking with Sylhet Tourist Guide, it is important that you follow these simple instructions.

General Rules

It is mandatory that you schedule your tour date at least 7 days later. If you want to start a tour 4 days later, you have to pay the full amount to confirm your booking. The Booking Cancellation Policy will not be applicable in this case..
The Sylhet Tourist Guide is connected with and collaborates with many institutions. Every institution has a few rules and regulations. In order to have a great time on the tour, you must agree to and obey the rules. For example, if you book a Couple Deluxe in Hotel Supreme, you agree to follow the regulations set by the hotel management.
If you take a custom package and rent a car for a day, it means the booked car will provide service from 9am to 5pm. If you want to prolong your stay, you must pay a reasonable extra fee as set by Sylhet Tourist Guide authority.
If you add another destination, you will be charged more. For Example, You want to visit Lalakhal as well even though it's not on your package or custom booking. In this case, You will be charged an extra amount of money imposed by the Sylhet Tourist Guide. All services will be subject to the same policy.
If you change your mind and want to visit another place, you will have to pay an extra cost. For example, you rented a car to visit Sada Pathor but you changed your mind and want to visit Jaflong instead. In this case, The Sylhet Tourist Guide authority will be reasonably charged an extra fee because of the variation in distance.
If you don't book any package and book one or more of our services, you will have to pay some additional fees. Suppose you rented only a car to visit Ratargul Swamp Forest; you would have to pay the entry fee and other additional fees.
We are not responsible for your actions. For example: If there are any problems with you or damages to any products on the tour, you will need to take care of them and compensate for them yourself. We can help our guests to resolve their problems.
You will have to believe in destiny. If an unfortunate accident or natural disaster destroys your product or takes someone's life. We are not responsible to recompense because this is not in our hands.
If you don't purchase a package and take any of our services, you will be billed for the extras. For example, you rented a car and only paid for the service. You have to pay for other expenses such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Tourists are allowed to bring one quart-sized bag of liquids, gels, creams, pastes, and essential materials in carry-on bags for the tour. These are limited to containers that are 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per item. It is very important that you do not carry any illegal drugs or weapons with you when you travel.
It is not allowed to use any other stimulants, especially in transport.
We do not allow drinking alcohol and using drugs in our transport.
It is out of our hands when the transport shakes from potholes on the road.
If there is significant damage to any product during the tour, you may be charged an additional fee.
Our hotel management and drivers will not be responsible for any of your lost items. So you should always keep your product close by for safety.
When you join our tour, we take your photo for security reasons but we do not disclose them to any third party. They can be used to identify and prevent any unexpected things.
You can be photographed during the tour, and the photo will be put on our website or social media. If you do not want your pictures to be published, please let us know before starting the tour.
It is possible that you will be asked to turn down the music after the curfew.
Sylhet Tourist Guide will do its best to provide a high-quality service, but due to traffic congestion, breakdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances, the service may take longer than expected. In this case, Sylhet Tourist Guide will not be responsible for any losses or inconvenience suffered.
If tourists do not hire a guideman, it is their responsibility to keep their children under 5-15 under parental control at all times.

Booking Rules

The booking is not confirmed until 50% of the total amount of the package or custom package is paid.
After paying 50% of the total amount, the remaining 50% of the amount should be paid when you arrive in Sylhet.
In the event that advanced payment is necessary, it will be based on an agreement between the two parties and the terms may be subject to alteration.

Booking Cancel Rules

If the tourists cancel in the last 3 days before the tour starts, they will be refunded 100%.
If the tourist cancels in the last 2 days before the tour starts, he/she will be charged 50%.
If the tourists cancel within 24 hours before the tour starts, they will be charged 100%
Changes made less than 24 hours before the tour starting date will not be accepted.
If any unforeseen event or natural disaster interrupts the tour, the Sylhet Tourist Guide authority may offer an alternate date.
